Antenna mount

Should I epoxy the aluminum mount to the boat once the hole is drilled? Or is tightening down the nut enough?

I personally have just always tightened the nut. Never had any issues. Maybe put a little loctite on it.

Also, use at least one rubber O-ring, between the antenna mount & hull, to seal it against water getting in. Adding a second O-ring, between hull & nut, couldn't hurt.
