    Pros and Cons

I have a 33? vee hull electric boat. The running gear is a Tp 3640 2080kv, ose raider 150A , running a surface drive on 4s.
The hull is hooked and has strakes back to the transom.
My questions are. What are the advantages and disadvantages with a hooked hull?
The advantages and disadvantages of strakes back to the transom? Would I be better off modifying the hull to eliminate the hook or filling and smoothing some of the strakes?
Any info would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks

Strakes to the transom give the most lift and good speed for limited power .

A hooked bottom sucks the boat down for good handling.

The 2 are working directly against each other, avoid any hull that has both
