I know that I've noticed in a few places, that have more trees and thus more runoff of, I think its called Tanic acid from those leaves that fall, that the water seems to be faster. Now, I would attribute that to PH, but I'm not chemist. Another thought is aerated ponds that have fountains, but I can't make any conclusions there from my experience.
What other recurring trends might these fast or slow bodies of water have in common? Care to share your experiences?
