esc and motor combinations

Hi Guys,

Any suggestions on an esc match for the SSS 56114 500kv motor? I've been looking at some 300amp esc's. Will they handle the voltage of this motor?

What voltage do you want to run? A 500 Kv motor would be suitable for 12S or more - regardless you will need a high voltage ESC, the amp rating is secondary. What “300 amp” controller were you looking at?
