    Need help Weight questions?????

Ok 1st I have two mean machine hulls --- as we know 1 was set up with twin ep1's on the backend ... the new one I want to build for P offshore!

I stripped the twin down --- burnt an esc up so i need to clean it up and make it look pretty!

The older of the hulls weight 3lbs. 3 oz. and the new one only 2lbs. will that 1 lb 3 oz difference make a difference in speed & if so how much?

The older hull is much stiffer so I think it will handle rough water better so my thought process says I should assemble that one with the 9 xl! My twin outboard is more for fun I'm not sure it will run in any of the classes but we'll see!

    Anybody have any thoughts?

We did it with a Bang!

I'd use the older hull for racing...you're gonna want the added weight/stiffness when racing. we don't often have a lot of say in the weather...that water can look like an ocean at times .

You could also look at it this way

If you were racing and someone ran into you broadside which boat would survive better ?????
