It is certainly worth a go as model r/c boats are just getting faster year by year without doubt so anything that can help keep a high speed saw hull on the water , all the better.

Learn every day,so I’ll ask is there a set max speed already determined for various hulls ? Like a genesis? Zonda? Fightercat ? Although the fightercat has never gone over and it’s fast ,I’ve learned to adjust strut angle, the Zonda has no room for battery adjustment,so it’s all strut,or is it more like no mater what you do your boat gets loose so you try the wind dam?thanks ,

When you over achieve the max hull speed, you can use a air dam.

    Wind dam on cats

A couple of years ago it seamed the idea was to install a wind dam on a cat In between the sponsens to disrupt the air flow and not blow over your boat, that however would negate the point of the cat hull which I thought was to funnel the air down in between and under the boat and get it out of the water ,I’m about to go launch them all first time this season ,any input?thanks,
