Diego, I was thinking...you may want to put an antenna on the outside. At 132 fps, you're going to need some pretty good range if you want to keep that thing in one piece!

The only drawback is the air drag, but of course, you could always go with a streamlined wire and run it along the trailing edge of the boom in the front and along the side brace. Just a thought.

Based on my experiences with 2.4g in CF glider fuselages I'd have to second that.

Thanks for the info. I was unaware since I have never had a CF boat nor have I run 2.4G. But that is good to know!

DiegoBoy, you were asking about a motor for this puppy, maybe a 1920/5 or even a 1920/4.
Love the adjustable angle of the sponsons... I was thinking about that a while back and here it is... already been done.

About your thoughts about making it a heat racer... I think the fact that the bottom of the sponsons are flat, as well
as the sides, you will not be able to run well on turns with her.

The bottom of the sponsons are flat, but there is a chamfer on the outside edge.

It should do nicely on an oval course, but only if there isn't a lot of chop.

It seems like Graupner really thought his one through and came out with an EXCELLENT boat at a GREAT price.

The only thing I don't really like is that the seams aren't painted very well, and it only comes in yellow. Not that I don't like yellow, but I think it would be nice if they offered other colors because there are WAY too many yellow boats.

I don't think I'll be getting one of these for a while now, though.
