That is a great looking piece! I've been thinking about a single motor cat, but I'm pretty busy on my hydro. A guy posted a boat last week for $160, I reached out to buy it, but he never responded. I'm over the impulse buy!

I doubt you will need 447's, I have a 40" running the same RPM as you have planned and I have found 442's the best fit for my application. But this depends how deep the prop runs.

45mm between centres on my Pirate. In this video running 42mm props. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tobZ3H2icco I can't adjust my struts any lower as the bottom edge is already parallel with the bottom of the hull. This boat works best with parallel struts. I eventually calmed the bounce with 44mm props. That's as big as I can go, in diameter and amps.R.B.

Now see mine needed 42mm to calm the ride. I was aiming for 445's on the build. But I have steerable drives which are pretty long.Originally posted by RunningBeer View Post45mm between centres on my Pirate.
