STS 250 problems

Has anyone had a problem with the bearing in the STS 250? Any replacement suggestions? grayhamby

I blew my bearings on my 3/16" ones. I was definitely using them to hold water out. I found the bearings to be common on RC 10's and Losi cars. Not sure on yours though, just google the bearing size. They pop out easy and should be a common size.

I blew the bearing out on every one I used. I replaced the beating with a higher quality one. I stopped using them tho.

You would think for $15 bucks they wouldn't cheapen out by using some $0.50 cent bearings there...

Well, I just got pack of bearings so I'm going to give it a go again. It may be too much RPM for RC car bearings but I smoked the silicone tubing I was using to keep water out.

Have you tried using heat shrink along with a small diameter teflon spacer or anything like that ?

Teflon would be the only thing that would withstand that kind of high temp in driveline anyway...

Twin hydro .. both my .250 had death rattles after a day's run .. always lubed with auto trans fluid
( drip feed lube header bulb inside .. overkill is my middle name lol )
Threw them to the .. 'can.
