need some info on a bk warrior esc

i recently bought a 36" drifter cat from a fellow offshore electrics member and im trying to find out some more info on the esc that came with my boat.

its a bk warrior esc which is powering a 9xl motor . im planning on running 3s and 4s lipos in series with it. the guy i bought it from is new to boats like myself so hes doesnt know much about the esc.

im trying to find out if anyone knows if this esc is set up to allow use of lipos with it? im concerned about running lipos not knowing if it has a built in lipo low voltage cutoff.

i also am looking to buy a prop for this boat. any suggestions as to the best prop to run with this setup?

    thanks alot guys.

The BK warrior esc does not have a voltage cutoff for lipos you have to use a liposaver.

Overhere in holland and in germany BK also stand for "Brennt Klasse" meaning "burns perfect" if they even see a drop of water or beeing overpowered it will burn.

Is the xl9 a feigao , wanderer or a vortex motor type? if so then 2x 3s lipo is enough (7s is to much) using a 40mm to 42mm 3 blade metal prop .

    greetings,

    Michiel,
