Yea... hes really understaffed apparently. There are some threads about it on OSE.
My orders have always shipped in a timely manner though but if a particular thing is out of stock it'll show up at my door eventually and would be mentioned in the invoice you get for your order the first time.
What happened? Emails not getting answered? -

I never get to have an answer from them. I ask questions on products i want to order, and no answer, so no order. I did ordered from them and received my order in a reasonable amount of time, but still CS is not at its best at KintecRacing these days.Comment

I have had great service from them. For the selection and prices that is offered, I am most willing to wait a little longer for delivery.
Once I had an order in and one item was not in stock. An email was sent and options were given, (exchange for like item or refund), I replied and received my order several days later.
Shipping is reasonable too. I would bet that this is not his full time profession. Just something on the side to help out the FE boating community. I mean.... who wants to buy these parts direct from China, pay 50 to 100% of the items value in shipping and then wait a month?
Not me. I am grateful to the folks that do the legwork to have what I need, in stock, state side, that I can purchase, for what I can see, a mediocre profit.

If you're talking about Kintec, I've had great service from Jan and I've ordered tons of stuff from him. I would not hesitate to order from him again, IMO Jan (Kintec) and Steve (OSE) are real equal in service. In my experiance usually what one doesn't have the other one does.Comment

Just to clarify, when i wrote this i was talking about communication, not order errors, or delay. i meant, if you need more infos about a product, and are not an expert in FE boats, it is hard to order the right thing... and not ending with some parts that you can't use. I have had mixed dealings with them. Some good and some wellll , ordered a boat six times. Will say NOT O.S.E. but they have stuff that O.S.E. does not and cheaper shipping.Comment

I'm back at playing with my boats again after a ten year break. I know I've dropped 6k in the last seven or eight months buying boats and parts. Kintec was one of my last orders and everything showed up. I don't remember how long it took, just glad to have a place to shop and get what I want. Definitely love the water lines!Comment
