I suspect the stock 120 amp ESC might be a tad under-rated to help protect the dummies that will try and over prop it right out of the box.Grand River Marine Modellers

I also suspect that you'll melt the ESC-to-Motor contacts off the wires before you hurt that ESC... But what do I know...Originally posted by Doby View PostI suspect the stock 120 amp ESC might be a tad under-rated to help protect the dummies that will try and over prop it right out of the box.

Interesting. Must be a choke point? If thats the case then new connectors will also help performance.Originally posted by Darin Jordan View PostI also suspect that you'll melt the ESC-to-Motor contacts off the wires before you hurt that ESC... But what do I know...

What size do you think we should be prepared to upgrade to?
I know alot of New BJv3 owners are having concerns about hot motor connectors as well....

Question for the Horizon/Proboat people.: I have the two 2000kv motors, and I see that all of the new Dynamite motors have end caps. Why is that? I cannot measure temp at the rear bearing.

I think this is a really nice boat, and Darin I know racing is not a big segment of people in the hobby but they could have easily made this boat 2 inches shorter and had the same exact performance but have the option to run 4 cell or 6 cell and it could be legal for P and Q classes mono and offshore? No? I think at 34" this boat would appeal to more people, thats just my thought. We call ourselves the "Q"

It looks like a modified Seaking 180. Since it can use a Seaking programmer, I think I'm close to correct.
