I agree too, what a relief. I love these collets and will use them whenever possible. I hope OSE will continue to carry them. Note that the older version has a thinner dia. around the threaded area , I had one that was like that.Too many boats, not enough time...

These collets are awesome, and work great on motors that have the flat grinded on the shaft too.

It would be nice if Steven would respond right here. I need a 8 x 187.Originally posted by Darin Jordan View PostOSE started carrying MBP stuff a few months ago. Might check with Steven to see if he's planning another order.

I dont get the time I used to, to surf the forum. But Im pretty easy to get ahold of (except by phone :-) ) Email, facebook, forum private messages. So if someone asks me I normally try to respond.
MBP is on vacation. Once he is back, we will have those and a few other goodies from him.Steven Vaccaro

Yeah man, def no need for a flatspot.Originally posted by T.S.Davis View PostThanks guys. That's what I wanted to hear.
It's hard to wrap your head around not needing it, but honestly, you really don't and they're just fantastic true running collets.
Worth every penny

At around 4:00 PM, I had pm'ed Steven to inform him of this thread, and to perhaps belay my fears of not getting a MBP collet for my Neu 1527 8mm shaft. Steven has a family, and a house to maintain, plus a brick, and mortar side business to run, and yet he answered me personally, and posted in this thread in less than 30 minutes. Think about that for a few moments people,------Originally posted by Steven Vaccaro View PostI dont get the time I used to, to surf the forum. Late too the party here, but I think these are the best collets ever. I have run them on a 10s Backlash and 10s big 48" plus mono's and no failures. Both of these are on Castle 2028's which are pre- cut on the shaft, yet they collet still stays in place.

MBP is back from vacation and responded to my order. I should have collets and easy move battery mounts in a week or so.
Also on my last order he sent a "easy Move" battery tray. All I can say is very cool item. It not only takes the stress off the batteries while removing them, but it also allows for fine tuning balance.
Im going to carry the 45mmx 240mm mounts in either carbon or fiberglass.
