How long of a piece do you need Trav? I still have that one length left after doing the R-42Originally posted by kfxguy View PostI was going to do a regular carbon inlay but after seeing how awesome this hull is I'm not going to half do it. Honey comb carbon looks sharp and I think it would go well. I'll be starting tomorrow. Gotta order a bigger carbon tube for my flood tube unless one of you guys can send me a piece and I'll either buy it from you or order you a replacement.

JYes. I've got some ideas but I'll be doing it differently than his. I'm a little concerned on how I'm doing the battery placement.Originally posted by Luck as a Constant View PostTravis, have you spoken to Keith about placement of stuff inside the hull?

I just ordered a few more things from ose last night. I was gonna use a regular octura collet in this one but decided I want a mbp in it so I ordered a couple more. Think I have just about everything to build it besides flood tube. I'm gonna get everything together today and see what I have.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) was

In a way you'll be at a bit of mercy to the flood tube regarding placement of motor and therefor forcing battery placement to a certain area, and you don't really want the batteries in the back. Not sure on that hull so don't quote me on that.
If it were me I would just end up putting the motor way up front and leaving large area in the middle or so for batteries and adjustment.
