I always thought it would be cool to put a gyro on a scale to run the canard wing up front.

Gyro on trim tabs might be useful.

I'm not sure it would work with all the jolting type direction changes of our little boats.

A gyro that cuts throttle is the boat gets over a certain degree would be a good idea if you could make it work

Once a boat get enough air under it to start to blow over, its going to blow over....gimmicks aren't going to do anything.

There is a point of no return during a blow over where nothing you do will stop it. And racers push that envelope right up to that point often.

They tried that years ago here in NZ with 1/8 scales. The gyros were just not fast enough to keep up, so it just wasn't feasible. Possibly todays gyros are better but unless you get off the throttle early enough, you are going to blow over.
Usually due to too much adrenalin try to keep ahead of the other guy!
