    J.A.E .21 / UL -1 power What size prop ?

    Hi all i have a JAE.21 fe rigger with a ETTI 150 amp esc 4s 5000 mah 50c lipo im installing the ul-1 2030 kv motor. What size prop should i be using ? Has anyone gps speeds with this set up ? Regards Andris Golts.

    H7 is what I was told but before I had a chance to run my JAE with the UL-1 motor I changed to a TP motor. The H7 worked well with the TP. Sorry that I can't tell you results with the UL-1 motor. My TP was a 36x70 sized motor, kv rating is 2010 kv. I later changed to yet another TP that is 2460kv, same size as the 36x70 can. It ran 70 mph with 4s and a Swordfish Pro+220 6s ESC.
    To be honest with you I was a bit concerned to use the UL-1 motor with that prop as the starting prop, I would have used a prop that is a little less both in pitch and diameter. I would have used something like a M445 *, just saying... someone correct me if I AM WRONG... With that motor I proceed with a little caution.

    * I found out from experienced members that this rigger doesn't really need a lifting prop as do some other riggers , the skid is the reason why a lifting prop is not needed.
