I like comp builds they bring out the best in people most of the time. I just don't see the point if all that a build brings to the table is prefab parts.
I have a 17.5 foot pickle fork and it is a old boat with some cool features like honey comb glass hull. it uses some other cool features that make hold up to big power.
I was wondering if this helps builds in rc. Or if the rc guys just rc. there is a lot to learn from the past that can change how you look at the future. Good luck in your builds!

Actually, I believe the idea was to find some new innovation and ideas to throw into this hobby. I have a funky one here for it, let's see if I can get it built and entered in time.

I do know about this....and I do have a hull that I have been working on. I think I should at least get the pics posted, Shawn are you entering a hull into the contest? Mine will be my mhz nortech 43 style hull that weird one I got a few months ago lol.

I know a lot of guys here frequent both sites but not sure if everyone knows about the build competition on KBB? There are some great prizes and you don't have to be an experienced builder to enter, heck there is a prize for rtr rebuild. If you're doing a build soon, first build or 30th, or just upgrading your rtr I would enter, what do you have to lose? It will end on Dec 31, so get to work
