yes that would be the 3 little pins on the esc.
a servo extension should work to hook it up
to the program card.

I do notice the OSE web page says this:

"The External Programming Port can connect to the LED Program Box for easily setting the parameters of the ESC."

I'm guessing that does mean the three little ports sticking out of the ESC.

So my ESC does have three pins sticking out of it, do I have to make a rig to connect the three pins to the card? Still doesn't explain why the ESC doesn't program with the Tx.

if your esc has a external program port you have to
plug the card into that to program it.

removing the decals becomes a bit easier when you warm them with an hairdryer ,if there aren't below a clearcoat of course
removing the glue from decals: i use isopropanol or white spirit

Doesn't. Followed directions precisely as they say, but still does nothing. I can't program with Tx or the programming card.

So I got everything in the mail today. All looks awesome and have already attempted to set all the electronics up. But for the life of me I cannot get the damn Seaking 120A v3 to program. I can't do it via the programming card or via the throttle. I notice there are three prongs sticking out of the ESC, do I have to use those to program instead of the throttle connection?

I got the GT-3B also. I will definitely make sure I get correct throttle reversal set up. Hull is pretty nice I like it a lot. Yep gunna keep the motor. Nothing wrong with it yet.

Which Flysky did you get?
Just a heads up, you need to reverse the throttle channel on your Flysky radio, at least that was what I had to do with my GT3-B.
The boat looks good on the picture, I had wanted one of these since I noticed MHZ USA was out of stock and then they folded. Are you keeping the old motor?
I have the V2 of the Seaking 120, a very reliable unit, good move.

Ended up getting a Seaking 120 v3, and a FlySky radio. Should be here Monday. Also bought some parts to make the boat look a little cleaner. I wish there was a was to take decals off easily. The previous owner did a pretty shoddy job of applying them and would like to take a bunch off.

I would go for the upgraded parts. Looks like a cool hull!
The Traxxas radio stuff is cheap and it offers telemetry, you can even have a rechargeable TX battery!

I am definitely going to do that, but part of me still wants to replace those two big parts. I can't stand my huge whippy antenna and I am just waiting for the day those caps pop on the ESC now that it's about 8 years old. I'd rather get it out of there rather than burn of the inside of the boat and make it smell horrible forever.

I checked out some of the Flysky radios, there are a bunch. Is the GT3-B a good model? Seems the GT3-C has had some issues.

dry out the motor , esc and rx with a hair dryer the best you can
then stick then in a covered container full of rice for a couple days.
you might be surprised how well that works.
it's worked for me.
