man im sorry....if i drop my boat, im catching it if all possible! lol cuts or not..im trying! lol

My Titan 29 slid off the front of my truck. Tried to stop it from smacking the dirt with my foot. My leg was not real happy about my choice. Got lucky on that one. Could have gone worse.

When pitting for someone, be aware of what is in your pockets. If you throw your guys boat in upside you can whip out the wallet and cell phone. Just drop them in the grass. Then you can run out right up to your waste and flip it back over. It SO sucks when you can't get it. You feel like such a tool. Done this myself only I forgot to take out the cell phone. DOH!

Lol...thats why i have a waterproof cell phone (galaxy s5). When we went to florida several weeks ago, we rented a pontoon boat and i had my cell phone in my pocket....jump off the boat to un anchor it...my heart sank....but but it came out ok. I guess it really is waterproof. thank goodness.

Painful to watch.... I have a very weak heart when it comes to beaching the boat, done it many times due to my near zero vision, I can never estimate the distance from the side, that's why I drive in circles and don't want to race.

Like to add. Don't let your 15 year old son that's into rc also have free roam in your shop. You'll pay for it...literally. He wrecks my tools, uses all my supplies, wears out my saw blades, dulls my drill bits, breaks the bits and loses the bits. Also damages my batteries. And after, he does whatever he can to hide it from me. Locks now changed and I'm saving money. Live and learn hahaha

• Pool noodles and/or pipe insulation make better floatation than just about anything else. Spray foam will retain water if it even cures. Pour foam is heavier than noodles.
  

I totally agree. I thought the pour foam would make the front of my cheetah more rigid. While it did accomplish that, it also made it heavier at the front, and messed up the balance. Now I have to run the batteries much farther back.

Do not compromise your running space just to get your run in.

I went to my lake Saturday and at the beach was some fly fishing lessons going on, so I went to the other 'tighter' end to get a few passes in. Had to get on it a bit harder off the line there which made the nose lift a touch more, she then blew over and now repairs are 'in process'.

Be mindful of the water depth in your pond, especially if its a storm pond that varies in elevation due to rain. I have a few ponds close to home, and the largest, most scenic one has alot of weeds that can hang the boat up if the water level is low. Thankfully it was close to shore.
