My old club in DC was dual club until late 90's when we as a district dropped NAMBA. You just have to sanction a given race under one or the other but not both at the same time.

Guys, I said non-sanctioned. A weekend gathering of members to practice, all have IMPBA and NAMBA cards and the pond is covered by both. Once guy's boat loses signal and punches a hole in the side of a moored powerboat. Which organization pays the owner for damages?

That could NOT have been as bad as Naylor standing shin deep in the water at Lake Minden (2008 Nats?) at 11:30 at night, in nothing but a T-Shirt AND HIS UNDERWEAR, running a P-Hydro in circles right off shore...
