Fightercat fantasm out of stock...returning when??

Fightercat doesn't seem to have an email for contact and their forum looks kind of stale. Does anyone know if they will have more of the 41" Fantasm's back in stock any time? A couple months ago, for my first ever RC boat, I bought a Spartan hull with a budget in mind and I've blown the budget out of the water. Now I'm sitting on a pile of new electronics with enough power for 90mph speeds and I know the Spartan will disintigrate, so I'm looking for a new hull.

Well I have some bad news for you. I've been emailing Kevin back and forth for a couple weeks now. I wanted a fantasm hull but he's not making an order anytime soon from what I gather. He has a select few hulls in stock but a fantasm is not one of them.

Hmmm, well maybe I'll settle for something a little smaller in carbon fiber that is in stock. I see he has the 41" in carbon, but I'm still trying to not go totally overboard on spending. Before I know it, I'll have a $1500 boat. Not really what I had planned at the beginning of this, haha. Thanks for the help, ladies and gentlemen.

He doesn't have a 41" in fiberglass or carbon

Apparently no one does except Kinetic. This hull has vanished. Talk about unfortunate timing - a fiberglass Fantasm just sold yesterday in the For Sale forum here on OSE, before I saw it. That's why I posted the WTB ad (thinking maybe lightning could strike twice).

Is it a tfl hull like a lot of there other stuff? If it is you can order direct from them. It may be called the Zonda but it's the same boat except it being a carbon/ kevlar version. not sure on my facts but it may be some thing to look into

If it's Fightercat it came from TFL. What I'm not sure about is any arrangement FC has with TFL. FC may own the rights to certain designs they helped develop. That's wild speculation on my part though.

It is the same thing as a zonda. You could order it from tfl but the dont have a traditional order system. worth a shot i guess.

I've emailed TFL directly and HOR Racing, which seems to be the state-side site of the same source as Astec in the UK...??? Anyways maybe I'll get something out of those two emails.

I never mentioned hor as a source earlier as I just had a really bad experience there. It went to paypal and ended up being an escalated claim which hor never responded to. The time allowed had elapsed and it was judged in my favor. Paypal had to actually take the funds from him. Meaning when somebody placed an order that money was used to pay my settlement. Hopefully he keeps cash in the account. 3 weeks of polite emails ignored and an entire paypal claim. I heard others were getting orders shipped with tracking info and others that just recieved there stuff. I can't spend any more money with a company that behaves Loke that. It was a really strange situation. I thought they may have closed up shop when they ignored paypal which is there lifeblood in business. I think my item may have been out of stock (it wasn't when I ordered, I know better than that) and they just moved on to the next order. Kintec racing sells tfl including the zonda and there a good company to deal with. Email him about stock first. Tfl is the best bet.
