Years ago when I built my maritimo twin I installed 6mm stingers. They are well built look like the etti's but larger. I had my shafts made as the flex is .187" and i run 3/16" props. What im thinking of doing due to the rear bulk head preventing access to the transom for removing and installing standard 1/4" or 3/16" stingers is: drilling out the brass inserts to 1/4" and cleaning them up for a 1/4" drive. but my brass stuffing tubes are not coming out either and they are 1/4" i believe for the 3/16" flex and telephone liner. So that would mean that I need .187" flex to 1/4" drive step down to 3/16" . Does anyone make this? I've done my search but couldn't find them. HELP
