removing tape residue???????

I left a couple strips of tape on a hull a bit too long(Renfrew hockey tape), and man, the glue really doesn't want to come off! I tried alcohol, acetone, brake cleaner, even wd-40. Is there something that does a good job of breaking it down to clean the glue off? Thanks.

I gave it a quick try, I'll try again. It was only on for 2 weeks or so.......Just laid it along the sides to be reused like I always have.

Squirt on, let saturate a few seconds, wipe off. Won't harm most finishes.

3M Adhesive Remover is the absolute best way to remove this kind of stuff. I've never seen it harm anything and it takes all forms of adhesive very well. You can find it at any parts store by the auto body stuff.

The 3M adhesive remover is an excellent product. Used it many times and it works very very well. However, I always try WD40 first. Much cheaper and without the fumes!
