So I got this impulse on the way but I've also got an ADS300 3000kv outrunner in the cupboard just gathering dust. What I was wondering is given that this is only rated as a 300 watt motor (its freakin' tiny) could I get enough speed out of it if I ran it on its outer limits with a 3s battery. I'm sceptical, given that I've got a more powerful motor in my joysway searider and that's just enough for me. I don't are if it lasts long but if I don't use this motor soon i'll probably never use it. Maybe I should bite the bullet and get the ADS400 600watt instead? they are really cheap and very light.
impulse 26" question?

The 400 watt ads is too small as I have it in a wooden 22" mono on 3S and it moves right on out. Now if you have brushed equipment, the Kershaw brushed 650S on 3S would be perfect as I have 2 of them and work great. They are rated at 34000 rpm on 14.8-16.8 volts with a 1/8" motor stem at $24.00 + s/h to the tone of $33.00. My guess at 3S is 27000 rpm but haven't hooked up the rpm equipment to actually find the exact #'s. Just a suggestion only. I go for reliability than speed.
