thats cool paypal took care of it. I personally see nothing wrong with ordering parts from overseas companies though. I have had orders get messed up from some very very reputable places so no business is impervious to the occasional glitch or whatever, I feel like what makes a business is how the problem is resolved. most places are willing to work with you when sometimes goes wrong but some companies really go above and beyond to make sure their customer is satisfied.

This hor site should be shut down or paypal should stop working with them screwing people over is messed up and $400 orders shouldn't be "forgotten," about too often.

I have to agree, it's to their benefit actually to ban them, I mean at some point they aren't gonna be ok with paying more and more claims from these guys

I do, and I order from Kintec and KBB.... And truth be told, ordering from KBB when I can is the least i can do for a guy who is always offering up free advice...........

I got a private message from someone who said that yes, HOR orders from TFL and that you (anyone) can order from TFL directly...

My last 3 orders from HOR were perfect and here within a week to Canada. Just as fast as Steve gets things to me.

I purchased hardware in 2012 with no issue.... 2013 local chap bought a 41" cat and extras which arrived within 28 days..

Complaints get 99% more airtime than congratulations ... a pitfall of internet social media ....

Not to say that's all bad.. without this exposure some folks would have been totally screwed/ignored..
Im still waiting for a well known US manufacturer's replacement hull.. to replace the friday build that missed the bin and found it's way to Australia..
Social media commentary aided that offer of a replacement... pending arrival. :)

My view on HOR is if you order and he has the part he will ship it and everything is fine. If there are ANY problems with wrong item shipped, not shipped, wrong boat hull(my case), damage, you will not be seeing any return mails and you are basically left with a Paypal dispute. Has anyone actually spoken to the guy? Basically, he does not care what happens and is not interested in any customer service at all.
