I did move the battery back on today's run, and it seemed to work better. Steering is not sharp at all, almost too wide. And torque roll was GREATLY reduced. I then brought it back in and did the dual packs, each off to the side of the motor and on port side. System then heated up, I got discouraged yet again, and came to this forum for help. Which I am receiving, so thank you so much

I was just kidding ! Welcome to the forum. It would be a good idea to move the ESC away from the motor. PM me your address and I'll mail you a nice set of connectors (free ). Phil

Do a little more home work on the 5.5 connectors,
And put the cell packs on each side of the motor in line with the front of the motor mount at the tramsom.
Also bring the strut up about 1/2" and make sure the flex shaft turns nice and free like that,
Just loosen the coupler set screw so the flex shaft can spin nice and free.
To check it,
Than if all is good give it a 2 minute run again and see how it does.
I would just do short runs for testing till you are sure all is working good for now.

You're wanting the batteries between the motor and the electronics box, correct?Originally posted by lenny View PostDo a little more home work on the 5.5 connectors,

Yes,
But just stay to the out side of the hull and box starboard and port side.
Kinda like where they are in my mystic hear,
But yours in line with the motor mount for starters and see how it rides.
