    Newb looking for some advice!

My brother bought a MC and seeing that scoot around the pond looked like so much fun so I been reading for the past couple weeks. What I have bought is a genesis. I also have bought a leopard 4082 1600kv motor paired with a t180 esc. I want to run on 4s to be-able to run on a smaller pond. Also going to run 5s most of the time and sparingly 6s. I have also purchased the necessary things to upgrade the drive to 3/16.

So here are my few questions that I have. First I need to know Some good prop sizes for each battery configuration. Right now I have an x445. Also i have a HK 3 ch receiver that I want to use with my turnigy 9x. would there be any problem with this receiver? Also what type of grease should I pick up for the shaft?

    TIA!

The x445 would work well on 4S, 5S or 6S. An x645 would be better on 4S and 5S for speed. Be certain to test each prop/battery configuration by running for one minute, checking the temsp, run another minute, etc. until you are certain the combination is safe for your conditions. Setups which work in December may be too 'hot' for July. Setups for small ponds may be too conservative for large lakes.

    I don't know.

Many use the GrimRacer grease or Prather grease.
