problem buying from kintec racing

Well I just sent an email to that address informing him there may be an issue. I did not get any reply that the email is not valid so, we'll see of he gets it.

You ca order from Kintec as a guest and not PayPal. My problem is that they do not have technical support. Their telephone constantly give a busy signal and they do not have a public email address. I am through with them.

I am a frequent customer of Kintec (just sent an order yesterday). I like the fast turn-around, the priority mail service they use, low prices and the low shipping cost (less that $5.65 for up to 10 items!). As far as technical support, they probably don't have any time to deal with that - with all the orders they must be getting. But if you know what you want and how to use it, this is the best deal going here in the states bar none.

I just emailed Kintec and got a response saying his email is working fine. Maybe it's your email that's having problems, especially if it's yahoo. Yahoo always had issues

Look at the email you are using I bet there is an extra space, some extra character or something in the address you are using

I agree that they do a good job in the ordering and shipping area but customer support is a critical part of success. I only need help with my last order, which was painless (good), which was the black 36mm water cooling jacket for the Traxxas Spartan motor. It arrived quickly (good) but did not have O rings or any other means which I assume are needed to keep the water from leaking around the motor (bad). Since I am getting quick responses to these posts perhaps one of you can help me (really good). Does anyone know the answer to my question whether O rings or anything else is reuired to keep water from seeping out the ends of the cooling jacket? I am new to electric boat racers and need more tech support than someone with experience. I have been ordering from OSE because of the ease of ordering, shipping punctuality, and tech support. I ordered the jacket from Kintec because OSE was out of stock at the time. I will continue to deal with OSE. Thanks for the quick responses.

You do need orings on the jacket. You should try the email again and make sure the address is right, cause he got my email no problem. I'm sure jan will send out new orings pronto.

Jan is great when it comes to shipping things out. Sometimes I'll place an order with ose, kintec and a few other places Jan usually gets stuff out the fastest. Problems only arise if a product is out of stock or whatever, its difficult to get in contact with him. I do rec. his site to everyone.

Ive never had issues with getting things to me. Kintec could communicate better, a shipped out notification or something. I never know when something has shipped, or tracking, but I always get stuff 2-3 days. I'd say if you didn't get something fast it wasn't in stock.

Update: Pkg came from the east coast, delivered to west coast, and there was a weekend in-between.

PayPal sent me an e-mail telling me the order shipped and what the tracking number was - just WTF more do you want??

Order was shipped vis USPS Priority Mail (Regional Rate Box A), OSE ships USPS First Class and charges more $$ for shipping.

My only complaint was: I was not given the opportunity to print an invoice at the time I placed the order nor was one included with the order.

99.9% of the people on this forum have no issues when ordering from Kintec, so why is everybody always bashing them??

Jan's a one man band, he's doing a great job judgiing by the vast majority of the favorable comments he receives.

If you don't like Kintec, don't buy from them!! - But for God's sake, STOP BASHING HIM!!

I'm pretty sure you can't call ose either, and for good reason. Kintec does respond to email however.

Sometimes there is a lag with USPS tracking info. It may have shipped sooner than that. It all depends on how the postal service is sending stuff. They send bulk. They don't put a little box on a truck to your destination. I've had orders from ose arrive the next day, and waited 4days for it and I'm only 20 minutes from ose. Just the way it works. But compared to ups, USPS it fasssst

It would be fair to change the heading of your thread. (Not sure if that is able to be changed). The heading just reads, "problems ordering from Kintec" but seems to be a problem with your paypal, judging from nearly all of the posts in this thread being positive. The heading in the forum post list saying "PROBLEMS ORDERING WITH KINTEC" is basically a bad adverstisement for Kintec on a site that likely feeds Kintec a good amount of business. Some people may see that and not open the thread an leave with the impression "Well that's a business I won't buy from..."

I have placed multiple orders from kintec racing and all were received fast and all items were correct.I did try to email and ask a question a week or 2 ago about a few parts that I needed info on before my order and did not get a response, but everything else was top notch service. I think both OSE and Kintec offer a great service that I appreciate greatly.
