i looked there and i like everything there. so ok your probably better than me at finding the servo and everything it needs so if you could tell me what would work and stay in my price range. also i have the transmitter under control i wanted to buy the fly-sky fsgt3b off their website so ill just need the servo and the pushrods for it. but this boat doesn't come with a battery and charger right?

and in the thread, the surge crusher looks cool but it may be hard to find 2 lipos that big with a good charger for about $100

No,
It does not come with a very bad and cheap charger,
Like the other one do.
You should get a nice charger that will work good and grow with your hobby.
The charger is the heart of the lipo's and they are the whole setups blood,
With out them it all stops.

i have a short course truck, the hpi mini trophy truck. but about $300 maybe $350 if i really like. im getting this money with the sale of my Xbox and other stuff from a yardsale i still have left over. so it might take me some time to get the money too
