I went to the pond today after work to run my p-spec sport it got 2 laps and the spedo exploded so bad that theres tar in the bottom of the hull about the 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter. Its horrible.

Denatured alcohol will remove most of the black and stink as will isopropyl alcohol. Don't be stingy with the alcohol and old towels...

I love that smell. Smells like speed. I think it changes your DNA. If I just think about it right now I can almost taste it on my pallet. Like a ghost scent you never shake.
Fast orange hand cleaner strips it out of there and covers up the left over stink. I think GoJo makes that now.Noisy personComment

Over the years I have burnt speedos at all most every pond (one time or another) I raced at all over the country. It is caused from running too slow (1/2 throttle) with too big of a prop.

about putting the smoke back in, try putting it in a plastic bag, blow a couple of bong hits in the bag and seal it up, come back after your buzz is gone!!!! that's the only thing I can think of!!!!! If the speedo doesn't work after that then just toss it.We call ourselves the "Q"Comment
