5000 MAH NIMH packs

So I am going to buy some good NIMH cells. I found some Trinity reference 5000 MAH Packs on tower for $59.00 each. That price is much more palatable than the $124.00 I was going to spend on one Lipo.

You would be WAY better off going to www.cheapbatterypacks.com and ordering a pair of Elite 4500mah Cell 30C 7.4volt packs... They are $80.00 each, are 1/2 the weight, and will last many more cycles than any NiMH cell out there... It's a difference of $40.00 over what you are looking at, but you'll be WAY happier a year from now when they are still running strong and those NiMH cells have crapped out...

I am whipped. I can't get up the courage to spend the amount of money that is needed in order to get my stock SV27 outfitted with LIPOs. I don't however want to go through an entire season not running my boat for fear of losing it due to crappy old batteries. So I am going to buy some good NIMH cells. I found some Trinity reference 5000 MAH Packs on tower for $59.00 each. That price is much more palatable than the $124.00 I was going to spend on one Lipo. The question is, how are these batteries? Will I be happy with them for a while or should I look else where.
