New Stingers for the GENESIS twin setup ??

Hello,

I think that those stingers fit the GENESIS hull. They are smaller and made for 3/16" shaft than the model Genesis 1400. I measured and that looks ok, I prefer to be sure. If you have a Genesis can you check if the size is ok? Here is the link

deleted. measured mine and just remembered yours is the 1400 boat. DUH

There are 2 models, one for the 1400 1/4" and this new one 3/16" smaller and seems to fit the Genesis 950

No, they won't work on the Genesis without major modification.

I did! And like Keith said they will not work without heavy modification.For starters the 40mm height is too tall for the 37'' Genesis

The techincal answer would be: No, I didn't measure.

For the 37inch Genesis the 40mm measurement is too TALL by over 6mm's (not including the depth of the transom mount bracket bottom below the actual stinger tube.
If the vertical mounting pad deal was 10mm shorter, then yes it would work. (just barely)

Yes those stingers made for the Graupner fit the Genesis, we can find the same product at Modellbaupirat saying this is OK for a twin Genesis http://mbp-rc.de/MTC-Power-Trimm-120mm

I order the HOR model, I will tell you if that' s good.
