Stupid thing I did, didnt pay attention to my water exit and i guess something clogged it or wrapp over the intake on the rudder. Ran fine til it just quit after about 4 laps. Got it in opened her up and smoke came out. The motor was very hot, couldnt lay my finger on the jacket for more than a second
I have two additional caps installed on the batt leads, so five 1000uf 35v caps and all three on the ESC were bulged at the top.
I rocked the caps back and forth til they broke off, not too hard really. The i flipped it over and soldered on 3 new caps to the small solder area where the original caps came thru the board. The solder they use is very tough to liquify, so i used my 300 watt soldering gun on the underside.
The motor is toast.................a nice freakin Leopard 4082 2200kv................makes me sick.
Pic of how I did it...............btw it works just fine now!!
