race or play? most clubs do not have specific race classes for cats, you need to run them against riggers. Some of the Highest quality built hulls are not necessarily good "race" hulls. We call ourselves the "Q"

The hull is an HPR C5005. Comes from Europe. Tyler G. built it for a customer of his. I'd not be far off to guess that it easily pushed six grand if not more. If you're serious I can put in touch with Tyler. OTOH for far less money I can build you a boat like the 34"FighterCat Cheetah I'm now building for a customer. Anywhere from 50mph to 70 mph for 1.2K to 1.5K. complete. Hit me at rcboatbuild@hotmail.com - no PM's plzOriginally posted by elijah View Postcool what is it and wear can I get one? is that a fighter cat?

still haven't told us how much you have to spend or is it a race or play boat you want? or you just want something that looks really cool and goes 70mph?We call ourselves the "Q"

Not sure that just impressing fellow club members is a real good reason for spending lots of wonga. You might be better to consider buying something that you can get to perform in such a way as to make their jaws drop, and it doesn't sound that you are far enough up the learning curve to achieve that.

propperchopper said the hpr boat was around 6000.00, and posted a pic of a hull he has that he could build for 12-1500 to get you near the 70 mph you want,im sure he could recommend a different hull if you don't like the looks of the one he has, but that seams to cover the high and low end of what's out there.i saw the hpr boat at Doug's shop when it was getting painted, its not a very big boat, but it was very nice. Thanks for the info and video.research ,research, research then build your boat. that's where I'm at right now. i would not expect to get all your answers on one thread.
