To Wit : Twice in the last year I had to do seven. Melted the connectors off one time, and recently thermaled & crept across the finish at barge speed. If you're going for points you got to finish. We race FE at the gasser events ; just TAP a buoy and you need to go one more . Keep the hammer down and hope for the best. Can get pricey

(DNF'd twice & won one heat). Today those kids would whip my a$$. I'd like the idea of an FE rookie class; race there until a certain amount of points are achieved - racing against the really good drivers usually guarantees few class wins and some frustration but does encourage a faster learning-to-drive curve.. Thing is that there's not enough entries in FE to make up rookie and expert. Just happy to get to race , whatever.
