Hello, I purchased a 33" Poseidon outrigger from tobsd.com, haven't recieve yet. I'm looking for motor/esc/prop combo, I may be wrong but I was thinking higher pitch props, small diameter would be decent with something along the lines of a 3665/74 leopard or Castle 1415, and either seaking 180 or swordfish 200. I want to keep it 4s and 6s if needed. Looking for some 70-80 mph consistent speed. If those motors won't be enough maybe 4074 or 4082? Thank you in advance.

That appears to be a splash of the H&M Mr. Krabs rigger. You're not likely to see 70+ for any length of time on 4S and the motors listed (SAW passes on 6S has all kinds of potential).
The 1415 would be a fantastic motor in that hull, significantly better quality compared to the leopard. I hold the NAMBA P hydro 2-Lap record with that motor in my raptor (radared at 76mph), but it's a smaller and lighter boat. 90 seconds of run time is about the limit on that combo. Lots of prop work.
Just my guess on this one.Brian "Snowman" Buaas

Thank you for your input. Watching YouTube videos setups varies. One in particular was a 4082 2200 kv on 6s, that's a lot of Roma but that h&m rigger was hauling.Originally posted by raptor347 View PostThat appears to be a splash of the H&M Mr. Krabs rigger.
