Flex Shaft Lubrication.

Hello All,
I've been noticing a number of threads asking about flex lubrication. Here is an old post of what some of the more experienced guys are using...

I use this stuff myself. I get it from a bicycle repair shop. http://www.triflowlubricants.com/Tri...ic_Grease.html

It stays put. It's waterproof and I don't get water up the shaft. But others have used different lubes in the list with the same results.

Marine Wheel Bearing Grease (blue)
Grim Racer Speed Grease
Hob-E-Lube White Grease with Teflon
Hob-E-Lube Moly Grease
Tamiya Cera-Grease HG
Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease
Tri-Flow Synthetic Grease with Teflon
Lubriplate “Lube A”
Quantum Hot Sauce Reel Grease
Quantum Hot Sauce Reel Lube
STP (may thin this down)

I use the proboat marine grease gun with great results.

i've stopped to use grease: it reduce max speed too much with a large power loosing...
i prefere to use highest quality motor oil with addictives like Pakelo Racing or Shell Helix Ultra.
then i replace oil every time after run..
additives protects driveline and motor too, at high temps too and they go inside metal...
grease come out after first flatout gas...
