HELP need motor replacment but dont know witch one to get

Well I purchased a rc boat from a company named G FREAK well i ran the boat for about 2 weeks and the motor burned up. Heres what it reads on the motor Stage 3) 90A max 2 pole 11v-22v, (3s-6s) that is the sticker on the motor.

Here are the diamentions of the motor(Lenght is 75mm long)(60mm is the motor not including the shaft) (Diameter is 52mm)(5mm shaft)(weight 353)

I have a 100amp esc and run 2 lipo batterys together

Can someone please help me find the motor im looking for if i have to change some other thing I will most motrs ive looked at are all 4 pole
dont know if the esc will work because I had a 2 pole motor from the get go need some help

How long and what style of boat? Cat, deep v, hydroplane?
What batteries do you currently have? 2s, 3s etc and capacity along with the "C" rating.
You will have to figure out how the program the correct timing of the esc, by doing that you can run any pole count motor, depending on the size of the boat you might need to replace the 100 amp esc with something with more capacity.
Need more info about the whole setup to make a proper motor suggestion.

Can't really go wrong with a Leopard 4074 about 2000kv and a T-180 esc in a 32" boat.
There are more expensive options but thats a pretty good setup.
I ran a 2000kv leopard 4074 for a bit in a couple different hulls was very happy with it, then stepped up to Castle. Higher quality, more efficient but more money.
Traded the Leopard for a new Motley Crew hull and hardware no electronics.
This hobby is addictive!

I'm not sure, didn't have any way of measuring speed then, I'd say easily into the low 50's, basing that on memory comparison to my smaller cat that is getting close to 60.
They do have longer leopards available that are still 40mm in diameter, I have no experience with these motors at all though, I don't know the amp draws, may be better suited to a 4s2p setup, running two 4s 5000mah packs in parallel.
Takes power to go fast and the power is in the batteries. I was running the 4074 with two 5300mah 2s packs in series, no problems.
It takes a good setup on the boat to go fast as well, that 60mph 26" cat is running a UL-1 spec motor, pulling about 110 amps. Not much room for error, I know fully if I get it wrong something will go up in smoke. That boat also doesn't turn worth a damn, goes like stink in a straight line though! Narrow hull for it's length by RC standards.

Wow Im really impressed with the smarts that you have on these boat you most have some money and time invested. Its alot of fun and can be very expensive.I think alll try
the leopard4074 and as for the t-180 esc will i have to program the esc to the motor. if so im sure all be back on here again looking for your advise youve been alot of help. If you get a chance I was looking at buy that geniuse boat from hobby king come with just a motor. thought it was a good deal let me know what you think

What do you want to do with the genesis, its more of a straight line boat, its not the best in the turns. I have the genesis and the apparition from HK, I have the twin apparition, but I would recomend the single, it is much easyer to work on, more room. You may want to check that one out, might be a better all around boat.

Order the programmer for the esc at the same time, makes it much easier to program instead of trying to count beeps and pull the throttle trigger at the right time.
I started out in RC boats as a kid about 30 years ago after a couple years of control line flying. Had to learn everything back then either the hard way or by club members if you had a club back then.
I don't think I want to know how much I've invested in RC over the years, but once you have all your support gear and a box of spare bits it really isn't that bad building a new boat. I started flying heli's last winter, found out rather quickly that gravity is an expensive mistress!
It's a great social hobby, you can make a kids week by letting him drive a boat for a few minutes, people always stop and talk to us about the boats and how to get started. LOL the girlfriends are happy because you're in the basement playing with your boats and not out with the guys.
I've also got a nice running spot about a half mile from my house I can usually get out mid week for an after dinner rip.
The girlfriends 11 year old boy loves it, I wouldn't tell her but I think the "guy time" is good for him, he is also learning a lot, basic mechanical ideas, some basic electrical theory etc.

If you get a T180a esc also get the programe box (dirt cheap ). Simple to programe & not messing with beeps & buss sounds as you do when programing through the transmitter.

I have both Apparition versions. I replaced the single motor wioth a Leopard 4074 2200KV, T-180 ESC, 4S2P, Octura X442 prop. You have to shoehorn the ESC in place, caps forward under the front deck. Motor is a snug fit but setup properly, you can hit 60MPH - if you run an offset rudder.

The still new twin App has been collecting dust for 6 months, so I have yet to get it to the water. Very busy inside that small hull, but equals the single's speed in stock form - from the HK videos I've seen. Thing about twins - double the trouble - 2 ESCs; 2 motors; 2 props & drives; limited room for 2 sets or parallel batteries, close to double the cost.

The Apparition is great at straight line running boat, and when setup properly at about 33% CG, it handles well. Remove the forward LIPO tray end & extend it forward so you can move the LIPOs/CG forward & aft to get a flat ride height.

Stock hardware will last a long time as long as you keep the flex drive greased. A decent 40+MPH boat stock - run it that way until the speed bug bites you, or the stock ESC/motor gives up the ghost. Overall a great boat for the price. JIM
