    wich one would you choose?

hey guys in mew to the forum here but not to rc's, ive never bought a fast rc boat but i did buy some cheap 29 inchers and modify them got one that had duel 380's and i put 2 titan 12 turns in it, it went pretty good and also had another of the same hull thats been pretty beat up but converted it to single prop and put a velineon system in it, works alright on 3s but the prop just dont cut it! so anyways guess that was my introduction but im tryin to figure out what boat i want, im in the 350 range on funds, i was debatin either a mystic 29 or something like the revolt 30, i wanna go fast but i like rough water also, and ive never owned a cat so i was leaning towards the mystic but not shire, any other good boats out there in this range? sorry for the rant and thanks for helpin out this newb, thanks guys!

If you are looking for a boat that likes rough water, isn't to large and looks good, have a look at the Aeromarine Challenger 31 in OSE shop.

A mono will handle chop better than a cat.
I would personally buy a Proboat Impulse before the Revolt, the Impulse has a better stuffing tube setup and more adjustability built into it.
It has also been out for a while longer, lots of long term testing and running done on it.
I also think from pictures the Revolt looks kinda funny, I'd have to see it in person, not sure about that hatch.
Also based on my Motley Crew I'd really want to check out the hull quality in person before putting down my cash.
Another to look at is a RTR Pursuit, good quality components and a setup that can be very competitive if you get the urge to go racing.
Stay far, far away from the Spartan. Plastic POS with questionable component selection! Quite a few of then go thermo-nuclear and melt down running the suggested setup!
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

+1 on the pursuit. Awesome handling boat. The OSE version looks a good choice. Not sure how much it is though.

Yep runs well on 4s. I think the OSE one comes with the leopard 4074 2200kv. Mine with a 4074 2000kv and x642 is hitting 42mph

            Diesel has a 4s pursuit and I think he's doing 56mph

so that OSE version is alot better you think? i found this one that is out of stock but cheaper heres its stats:

              Pre-painted fiberglass hull
              Hull size: 820*235*80(mm)
              Brushless motor: 3660 water-cooled in-runner brushless motor
              Brushless ESC: Hobbywing Seaking 120A
              Propeller: D48 Aluminum propeller
Flysky 2.4G Pistol TX with Receiver Installed
theres not many other people around with rc boats ive seen in my area, so no racing but still would be killer to scream across our local resevoir at 40+
i do have another 2.4 reciever and controller just gotta find the controller, got a ton of old crystaled ones around but i dont wanna use it

You won't hit 40mph with the 3660 motor. If you want to run 4s go with either a 4074 2200kv or 4082 2200kv. Not sure the t120 esc would be up for the job of the larger motors.

Components aren't even in the same league as the OSE pursuit, you'd end up replacing most everything with aftermarket parts anyway.

ya i think if i do go with this boat it will be the OSE model, so i think im leaning on the pursuit or impulse, probably pursuit though, seems faster then the impulse
