    newbee? Problem with Hydra 120

Have a drifter s running a hydra 120, 9xl 4s lipo. Ran great today but then started cutting out after about 1/2 trigger. Packs are fully charged, settings are good on the hydra.. Anyone have this problem before with a hydra??? It will run for about 3 seconds at half trigger and then stop. If I return the trigger to nuetral pause it will run for another 3 seconds and stop... thanks....

Are you using the bec? What radio eqipment? You mean PolyRc packs right? I know some lipos fall below the cut off on a hard start, some are inferior or overrated for their general use.

Yes using the bec on a futaba 3ch, Yes PolyRc 25c Expert Series 25c 50 Burst. Before this had 2 great runs. no heat no smoke. everything working fine. Then I connected a 3 cell lipo or a 6 cell nicad too test, does the same thing, after bench testing a 1/4 trigger after 3 seconds it cuts out. After returning too nuetral it will go too 1/4 trigger aned cut out again?????????????? hanks for reply's

Ok at first I was thinking it may be glitching because of using a 4s with bec enabled, but if it does it with everything then... Have you tried to reprogram it via the link? Something may have tripped in the esc. Happened in some of my MGM's a while back.

Another thing to try is to re-calibrate the ESC to the reciever.

I never run my boats to lvco but set the control to 3v/cell.

                  Welcome back Steven!
