Namba hull length specs?

Is there a minimum hull length for classes? I can only find a maximum. I have a twin powered 36" cat that I am running on 8s 4000mah per motor and would like to enter it in S-offshore. That seems like the proper class as I am under the max voltage and under the 12,000mah capacity... or is there a minimum hull length?

If it's like the IMPBA, there is a max length and no min unless stated

I dont think there is an s offshore. the s class is for saw competition only. You would want to do q offshore, no min length just a max of 40". You are over the p class length limit of 34" visit www.namaba.com for the rule book. You can find it under the resources tab at the top of the page.

Sorry, I only want to participate in SAW competition. My Explorer wouldn't stand a chance in an oval race.

Doesn't look like there is a hull minimum. Offshore is more a race format but i guess there is a saw class for it. You should be good to go.

I'm not sure if they are using the ">" properly there or not, but I guess it's a 40" minimum.

For Mono/tunnel/hydro/OB tunnel it just says "up to 50")

Would a catamaran compete in sport hydro or tunnel?

Cats are tunnels and tunnels are OB tunnels.

IMPBA rules for sport hydros do indeed have both minimum and maximum lengths. Inboard catamarans are not O/B tunnels. Inboard catamarans compete in the Tunnel class, I held several SAW records in that class. There is a different class for O/B tunnels - "O/B Tunnel." Check out the IMPBA records listing:

Yeah, I get it now Jay. What I meant by "both records" was impba and namba. Obviously I'm being a little cocky for fun, but it would be fun to try for it as well as meet some of the racers.
