Wire drive guys I need some help here. I run a .78 wire in the Jolly cat. The other night on the first test run the set screws on the wire where not set tight enough. They spun loose heating up wire and coupler. I snuged them up and the boat ran fine all night. When I got home I began the break down and service process as I always do. I turnd out the wire set screws and attempted to pull it. It would not budge. I completely removed the set screws and spun the wire around inside the coupler. It was snug @ first the spun a little more free. I worked it a bit but can only get it to move about an 8th inch in or out of the coupler. I'm completely stumped on this one. I don't want to ruin the wire due to the fact I can't even order one untill next week. ANY suggestions on how to save this drive would be great.
Thank you,

. Fluid I do agree with regards to set screw couplers not being perfect. I have had problems trying to replace the factory coupler with a couple I have ordered from the store. What's dissapointing is the one I received with the boat from Toysport was nearly perfect. One of the main reasons I had the rotor shaft turned down was to use that coupler. I will scrap the wire & coupler. My problem now is I don't think octura makes a .78 flex hex. I only see a .62 in the store. Now I need to figure out if I can swap out the wire.
