Honestly, if it wasn't for thier dishonesty and poor attitude/ethic, I wouldn't have a problem with them. There are a lot of people who want something different than what's offered as a RTR. but don't want to try building or assembling themselves. I think people who assemble/modify/build boats are of value to our hobby...these guys just didn't do it right.

Keith, It would be easier to understand if we regarded these guys simply as the common criminal/hucksters they appear to be, but the saddest thing I'm sensing is that they're just plain clueless dumbells trying to make a buck. How else could they present videos like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=...ture=endscreen without breaking out in hysterical laughter with the ridiculousness of what they're saying and displaying ?

Off camera voice : "Whaddaya mean, You just get this from China and then give it to the customer and charge them extra, or we actually did something ?" Second voice : "We did something for the money"

They then claim to have installed (no they didn't; it was part of the SC harness) a " shot key" or "chotchkie" diode or whatever this thing is called." [it's a resistor, Bubba]

Then the video shows the boat bouncing like a drunk squirrel until it rolls over (and no doubt immerses the electronics in the unsealable hull - saved (at least until it sinks) by the flotatation "device" they installed (a small chunk of pool noodle hot-glued into the cowl)

One characteristic of people with below-average intelligence is that they think the rest of us are also comprehension-challanged. At least some redemption is available for these guys; a career at the 99-Cent Only store (oh wait; they'd have to pass the price-check test.)

Not sure the U tube video you posted is the one your talking about tony,comes up as 52" cat ?

Cant believe someone would post such a crap video. Sounds like there testing it for a customer.

Could be wrong as i have not touched a brushed motor in years, but thought you only used Schottky diodes were on brushed motors between the + and -

Correct vid inserted. Yup, diodes are for brushed motors. The (correct component) resistor is to prevent a "pop" from the "37 million volts" (their words)

Just tried the link again and got the tunnel hull video. Cant believe they would post that as advertising or to show a customer what they were getting.
