    Jet drive Boat?

    Any one ever thought of combining these two items to make a jet drive boat?

      It would be OK if you want something different. But compared to a regular prop setup they're dogs. JIM

          I've got a VXL 3M in a NQD and I'm not the only one.They are quite popular in Vancouver with all the mountain streams and such.Let me know if you want to see some vids.

              There is a huge thread on RC Universe Wish I had a little stream close by for mine looks like fun on rapids.

                      That decoy drive (13mm impeller) is anemic and best suited for micros or the retrieval duck. IMO, this NQD drive http://www.ebay.com/itm/20mm-Jet-Dri...item231c79c2d5 has a 19mm impeller and would be more suitable in the Taipan or the Cobra. All of my jet drive boats run brushless motors.

                          OK, I stand corrected. Doing "rapids" in the video looks like fun. I've had a 40" Mono with a 1 1/2" jet impeller sitting around for a couple of years now. Maybe it's time to finish it up, after the FE Nats. JIM

                              I just got my 1st boat and now I want one like in your video i just watched.
                              I'm a whitewater kayaker, and am constantly running rivers. so this thing would be a blast to take with me sometimes.

                                  I think the most critical part is to make sure to waterproof everything.If you think a little water can get in a regular boat,just try rapids.
