Rob, reinforce it like you did with your Segad. Suggest you go with a Turnigy 180 amp ESC. Got them here on OSE, or from Hobby King. Only around $80, are pretty much bullet proof, & will let you use a wider size range of motors. Perhaps you could stuff one of those 5692 1340KV Leopards in there with a Turnigy 240 ESC.

I reckon you could Jim. It would go like a bullet too if set up right but it would also increase your build cost by a fair amount.Originally posted by JIM MARCUM View Post

Agreed. But sometimes running a boat at <60 MPH all day long beats going 90-100 for a few seconds, then trying to find a diver to pick up the pieces. A whole lot easier on the wallet too. Ya I thought about it... my buddy just ordered the 41", Im already doing a pretty big build so my money and time is going to that... I got the Genesis cause its cheap and fast... Plus late night youtube and seeing the 9s rippin 80s all day I was sold...Originally posted by Rumdog View PostYou should have gotten the bare hull only from Fightercat. For only about $60 more it's well worth it in hardware & time saved. Toss the plastic prop & don't forget to get an offset rudder for it Rob. JIM

Agreed sir... its got the paint, stuff tube already installed, strut and all the hardware drilled... plus I like the cool water cooled motor mount... for the amount of work I want to put into it, you cant beat it for the low low cost of 200 bucks...Originally posted by JIM MARCUM View PostFor only about $60 more it's well worth it in hardware & time saved. Thanks Rob. But if you call me "sir" again, I send the lying inbred trailer guy over to pee on your porch.
