    Great looking outdrive........any good?

    Ran across this............looks to be one of the better made outdrives I've seen. Thats a 4574 motor attatched to it

    I've seen their other drive, the bullet drive in action, nice piece. Parts are interchangable with the K&B drives. Same company that does the conversion kits for OS and K&B outboards sold here at OSE.
    If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

      It's a nice piece but seldom used. I ran one that I modded on two different VS-1's. Because of the smallish fin, I enlarged it for more "traction" in the corners :

      To keep the CG low as possible, I used the REK adaptor, and relieved the leg to allow the collet to sit lower/clear.

      The Hyperformance adaptor is taller to allow use on the K.B. lower. Stephen (Chiefy_44) just had David at Hyperformance mill his adaptor down to have it sit lower on his O.S. lower unit. Low CG, especially with tall motors is obviously a desirable goal to avoid those embarassing rollovers !
