What esc and type of batteries does this motor require? No paperwork in box when it arrived?

what boat is it going in? size? as far as battery, any lipo or nimh packs will work as long as you dont exceed much over 30k rpm - kv x volts.

It's going in a hydro about 22" The vortex, I hope!

i would say about 40mph
i know with 8x 3700 nimh cells it ran 41 on gps and it doesn't look much slower.
I now use 5000 2s 1p lipos
