Gee you are making me think back when Dick Crowe was running for MRP and he tried to race a funny little ski boat of the time. I can not remember if it was named the Pantera or not.

Hey,I remember him.I did used to race this one and a little rigger back then.AstroFlight all the way,Bob Bouchere was cutting edge then.

wow i had all but forgot my mrp hydro its in need of everything but the hull is still strait oh no another project just found lol.

My old running mate still has his up and running,just had ankle surgery though.Hopefully he'll be out this year and I'll catch some vid to get you worked up.

We got out in the sun today and here's a pic to prove it.I have some vid but the hockey games about to start.
I did find out that a .098 flex is too small for a 1415.I thought it's a small boat and only a X435 prop just as was used for years before,but, NO.I think I need to revamp the strut and get it up some more as the boat likes to spin out in corners.The prop is 2/3 submerged.

Hey there Lenny.Those are 4400 2s packs.I also was running 2200 3s2p in there.

That boat looks like it has some good free board to it out of the water.

Yeah Randy when I first got this boat, I couldn't get it to work on the water it wouldn't come up on plane. So I called MRP to ask questions to learn what tricks they use, and they put me right on the phone with the President of MRP. As a young man, I was stunned to be speaking with the President just for some boating questions!! (shocked) He wound up telling me that they were sad that they were selling to mass market. He told me it was more of a pro boaters boat because you had to glue tabs to the front sponsons but he was very nice and helpful. Really neat to be able to talk with him back then.
