Those spring benders have been around forever. Don't expect to do a very sharp bend with it, you won't get the tube out of it!

Terry I use stainless steel tubing on all my high powered rigs - way tougher than brass just make sure its greased every run - I will try on all my boats to machine in a grease zerk on the shaft centers this season . ( see if it works ok )Originally posted by T.S.Davis View Post

You found SS pipe in the same sizes as the K&S Brass?

To be fair Larry, quenching in water doesn't necessarily harden metal. If you want to harden it, try quenching it in something with a high carbon content, like used motor oil.Originally posted by LarrysDrifter View PostThat is wrong. Heat the tube until red hot.
