acutally, they're lithium POLYMER batteries, bugs me when everyone says that.
probably over discharged it and was working it too hard.
Doesn't matter still should not be happening.
Kinda hard to over discharge a phone when it has auto shutoff and shouldn't be able work it to hard......
Sad to say its not the first time as they had some issues with lap tops doing this years back but got that sorted.
Guess they should have waited for the 4S to come out...

did you hear about the macbook issue? you can send it in and they'll repair it for free but you have to buy an apple care package (50$) before they send you the "official" return box.
You can not overcharge your iphone battery, unless there is something wrong with the charger.
There was a little issue with Apple little white chargers in the past.
Now they have a little green dot indicating the newer version.
Other suggestion I have if there is issues after upgrading, restore it to factory settings via iTunes.... Back up first...Upgrade, done....
